Scrum meeting – Beginning of Sprint 4 – PM 3. – WII 6.

PM 3. Be able to co-ordinate a production process

7th May 2020

This morning we held a meeting on Microsoft Teams as a class discussing the industry feedback we’re going to be getting in regards to our Pitch. We then went into our individual groups to talk about what we got done in sprint 3 and what we didn’t etc. However, Only me and Emma were in this session as Aleksy didn’t show up.

Sprint 4 plan:

In sprint 3, there were a lot of things that we wanted to get done. We failed that sprint, but that was due to the covid-19 issues we had with classes and teammates not attending online classes/miscommunication. We will try our best to get sprint 4 done on time.

What we want to have done:

  • HUD/Animation to show the time limit for possession (Blue ring that slowly gets redder and shakier the longer it goes on)
  • Textured cave/remodelling of some assets in the cave
  • Animation for possession (rather than just jump in&out)
  • Fox model implemented into UE4 and working.
  • Sound/music
  • Pause menu (so player can exit the game)
  • ‘Spook’ effect so AI runs away when player unpossesses it.

This is what we hope to have done:

  • Moving the collection system inside the cave
  • Storyboard for various cut scenes/basic game play (Deer dying process, entering cave, movement etc)
  • Textured fox/deer
  • Protagonist texture working in ue4
  • Environment effects (fog, ice, running water from waterfall etc)
  • configuration of waterfall steps (hard to walk up)
